牙买加、伊朗混血的Rox，原名Roxanne Tataei，从五岁开始，每逢周末便前往教堂诗唱班演唱，十岁开始随国家青年音乐剧团巡回演出，与生俱来的演唱才华，加上近十年的剧团经历，让Rox的嗓音已具备了最扣人心弦的感染力。2007年成立灵魂爵士乐队后，陆续吸引各大唱片厂牌注目，最终于2008年底落脚英伦名厂Rough Trade。
